Been roughly equally distant from the iconic experiences of Oban, and its connections to the inner Isles. And the dramatic peaks of Glencoe there is something for everyone and all ages. Built to stand up to the worse of the Scottish weather, ‘The Nook’ provides a base to explore the west coast, or just snuggle down and relax, absorbing the landscape and wildlife around you. Courrie Nook is a 8mt pod, new for 2026, ideal for couples or family’s. And sits on our croft adjacent to our house in Appin

You may be lucky enough to spot and Otter, see a Sea Eagle soring above, or wake up to a inquisitive deer checking you out. While we can’t guarantee the wildlife, we can be sure or providing you with peach and tranquillity, in stunning surroundings.

And don’t forget the islands, Mull, Lismore, Kerrera, and beyond—each island has its own character, charm, and adventures waiting to be discovered. The west coast is the perfect launchpad for island hopping.

Appin is where Scotland slows down and the scenery takes over. And is one of those rare places that feels both peaceful and alive. A feeling of space, and a place to breathe.

Visit the iconic Castle Stalker, one of Scotland’s most romantic and much-photographed castles it occupies a tiny rock island close to Port Appin at Loch Laich.

Walk the Clach Thoul costal path close to the pier. A fairly leisurely walk taking you around the peninsular with stunning views across to south Lismore and of course don’t forget to take the ferry (and your bike) across to Lismore. A short hop over water. But a world away from city life.

Whether you’re walking, cycling, kayaking, or simply wandering with a camera in hand, Appin gives you room to explore at your own pace.

What amenities are included in the holiday let?

The Nook includes a small kitchen, with combi microwave, fridge, and electric hob. A coffe machine, kettle, and toaster complete the kitchen.

There is a comfortable living area, with a sofa bed for children, a high chair and travel cot are also available. We have free Wi-Fi, and television with Nexflix for those rainy days outdoor space for relaxation. We ensure that all essentials are provided for a pleasant stay.

Is there parking available at the property?

Yes, we offer free private parking for our guests. You can park right next to the nook for easy access.

What is the check-in and check-out process?

Check-in is at 3 PM and check-out is at 10 AM. We provide detailed instructions for a smooth arrival and departure experience.

Are pets allowed in the holiday let?

We understand that pets are part of the family, but unfortunately, we do not allow pets in the holiday let to maintain a clean and allergen-free environment for all guests.

What activities are available nearby?

The area offers a variety of activities including hiking, cycling, and water sports. You can explore beautiful beaches, visit local attractions, and enjoy cultural experiences. There are also numerous restaurants and shops to discover.
